Join us for our 61st Season at Montana’s Premier Music Camp!

If you have just finished the seventh grade, are just graduating from high school, or are somewhere in between, and you want to learn to play great music from professional musicians while staying in a scenic wonderland just an hour from Yellowstone Park, join us at Red Lodge Music Festival this summer. Come to Music in the Mountains!

Festival Auditions

All students audition for ensemble and orchestra placement when they arrive at the Festival on Saturday, June 6, 2026. Audition materials for all instruments will be posted by spring 2026.

All piano students must audition in person when they arrive at the Festival on June 6. Pianists should indicate whether they wish to play piano only or play other instruments in ensembles or master classes.

Festival Fees

The fee to attend the Festival covers room and board, tuition, and a colorful Festival T-shirt.

If you send your full payment or pay in full online by March 31, 2026, you will receive the EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT of $20!  (on-campus only)

If not paid in full when registering, a $20 deposit is required. If a reservation is canceled after May 18, the deposit will not be refunded. No refunds after May 18. If you prefer to avoid Paypal fees, you may mail a check to: RLMF Enrollment, 3501 Briarwood Blvd, Billings, MT. 59101.

 

  • On Campus Full Tuition – $699 (postmarked or paid after March 31)
  • Off Campus Full Tuition – $520
  • Honor String Ensemble Application Fee – $50 (due February 23, 2026)
  • Early Bird Discount Total – $679
    • If postmarked or paid online by March 31, you save $20!
